What is a wizard?
A wizard is variously defined as one who practices magic; a sorcerer or magician, a skilled or clever person or a sage. By any definition Michael Kiely is a wizard.
The solutions he has 'delivered' in the past in many cases have transformed the fortunes of clients 'like magic'. His skills are of the highest order - he is a Jedi of marketing. And sage advice is his stock in trade. He is the sagest.
And he has a box of tricks, out of which he can pull tired and true solutions to any problem on the run.
Michael edited Marketing Magazine for more than a decade (from 1985 to 1995) and has been Executive Editor for the past 10 years. In this time he has met and been exposed to the marketing smarts of the world's best thinkers, leaders and activists. "I have had the best real world education, listening at the feet of giants, sharing their brainspace," he says.
His column "Kiely" is the most read item in the magazine and rates the highest with readers in satisfaction surveys. It confirms his status as The Wizard of Marketing.
